The large waste bin of the ScoopFree SmartSpin™ Litter Box holds up to two weeks of waste, depending on the number of cats using it, making maintenance easy and infrequent.

This self-cleaning litter box requires a wireless router (2.4 GHz), a high-speed internet connection, and a smartphone on which the app must be downloaded.

The ScoopFree SmartSpin Litterbox is not suitable for cats that urinate while standing or spray the sides.

Helpful tips:

While many cats get used to their new and improved litter box right away, others take a little longer. Here are some tips to get you started:

1. Place the new ScoopFree™ SmartSpin™ self-cleaning litter box next to your cat's current litter box. (The old one can be thrown away soon.)
2. Let the old litter box get dirty. Most cats prefer a clean litter box and will quickly be drawn to fresh litter.
3. Although the ScoopFree™ SmartSpin™ Self-Cleaning Litter Box is quiet during use and only spins after use, in some cases it is a good idea to leave the new litter box out until the cat gets used to it.

For a kitten, leave the litter box off (or turn off the Auto Clean function in the app) and scoop waste manually until the cat weighs at least 1.1 kg and is 6 months old.

Do not fill the litter box above the MAX fill line. Larger granulated litter, such as tofu litter, may not be compatible with this litter box. Clumping bentonite or crystal litter is recommended.

If litter is added without using the Add Litter mode, the litter box will need to be restarted to calibrate to the new litter weight.

The base contains the litter box's electronic components and is not waterproof. Do not rinse the base, immerse it in water, or spray it with cleaning agents. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe the base.

Do not use bleach or chemicals to clean; the odor can repel cats. If further cleaning is necessary, disassemble the globe and wash the globe halves, the floor pad, and the litter box separator with warm, soapy water.
